Insight – Market Intelligence Services

This is the first step of the process, providing Financial Institutions with the Marketing Intelligence Tools necessary to fully comprehend their market landscape.

Specifically, 3 fundamental market aspects are analyzed:

  1. Competition: Every step of every transaction of the e-banking platforms of the Financial Institutions present in the market is fully analyzed. Furthermore, the experience and the value added to the user, as well as the manner in which specific market needs are met are also analyzed .
  2. User Behaviour: The market is segmented based on Age, Gender, Education, and Income, and behavioral habits and end-user needs in regards to web usage are analyzed. In addition, leveraging actual user data, the behavior and needs of existing customers are also analyzed.
  3. Ecosystem: The status of the market Ecosystem is analyzed based on the use of Hardware, Operating Systems, Internet Penetration, e-Commerce, Payments και mPayments. Furthermore, the set of local market e-trends as well as how each Financial Institution reacts to them is also analyzed. The section aims at mapping the market and showcase available options for the development of new services.

The objective of this first step is to enable an educated Decision, in regards to the optimal strategic path forward.

 

Decision

This consists the most important step of the process, during which the Financial Institution’s Offline Strategy, i.e. its true strategic direction, is analyzed and translated by Scientia to an Online Product Roadmap, containing the sum of services necessary to achieve strategic objectives through the Online channels.

During the Decision step, the set of KPIs to be monitored when the service is launched, in order to achieve the Financial Institution’s strategic objectives, is also set.

 

Design

Having decided on the strategic direction, the time comes to transition from the Strategic to the Tactical level, to turn high-level plans to concrete action plans.

Under Design, Scientia creates a complete Low-level Design / Functional Specifications Document in preparation of tendering procedures, while it further complements the offering with the provision of an Offline & Online Assets Utilization Plan, to ensure all the available talent and resources are properly leveraged towards the attainment of the goals and KPIs decided during previous steps.

This stage also includes the management of Design execution by the in-house teams and/or selected vendors up to the stage of beta-testing, to ensure alignment of deliverables to the aforementioned goals and KPIs.

 

Implementation – The Roll Out & Measurement Plan

The major task during this step is to monitor and evaluate the launched products and services as to their alignment with the explicit KPIs and strategic objectives set forth during the previous stages, and of course to propose corrective action as required.

With this, a new product cycle begins, creating once more the need to provide the information necessary to evaluate the newly formed market status quo, bringing us back to the first stage of the Ongoing Business Development approach, Insight.
